What cookies are and which we use
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser so that it can recognise your device on a later visit. Redwood Law uses only a minimal set: strictly necessary cookies that remember your consent choice and keep your session working, and — if and only if you allow them — one analytics cookie that helps us see which pages are read. Necessary cookies are set on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating the site; all others require your consent, which you give through the banner and may withdraw at any time.
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| cookieconsent_status | Stores whether you allowed or declined optional cookies | Necessary | 12 months |
| PHPSESSID | Keeps the server session while you browse and submit the form | Necessary | Session |
| _ga | Anonymous visit statistics, set only after consent | Analytics | 24 months |
| rw_lang | Remembers the display language you selected | Preference | 6 months |
Managing cookies
You can change your decision at any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser and reloading the page, which brings the consent banner back. Every current browser also lets you block or delete cookies entirely through its privacy settings — in Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge this sits under settings for privacy, security or website data. Please note that blocking necessary cookies may prevent the contact form and the consent banner from working correctly.
Third-party services
Two external services are embedded in this website: Google Maps, which displays the location of our office on the contact page and is loaded from Google servers, and Google Fonts together with the jsDelivr CDN, which deliver the typefaces and stylesheets. These providers may receive your IP address and technical browser data when the relevant resource is requested. Their processing is governed by their own privacy notices; details on international transfers and your rights are set out in our Privacy Policy.
